Before coming to Oberlin, she taught at the University of Texas at Arlington and in the Arlington public schools for fourteen years. She also conducted the Junior Youth Orchestra of Greater Fort Worth and played cello in the Fort Worth Symphony. She has given clinics on rehearsal techniques and conducted regional orchestras throughout the United States. Her husband, Bruce, is a violinist and teacher, and their daughter Emily is an oboist. |
