Philharmonia is a full orchestra designed for high school students. Educationally and musically, Philharmonia grows out of the foundation laid in the Symphonetta. Students sign up through the NOYO office for an audition with the conductor which includes the performance of scales, orchestral excerpts, and a solo work of their choice. Auditions typically take place in May and August but may be scheduled any time in the year. The group rehearses on Sundays from 4:30-7:00 PM at the Oberlin Conservatory.
