ASTA's members range from budding student teachers to artist-status performers. The organization provides a vast array of services, including instrument insurance, an award-winning scholarly journal, discounts on publications and resources, annual professional development opportunities, and access to collegial network of colleagues throughout the string profession. 2      Shar Music Shar is the recognized market leader in North America as a supplier of string family instruments, bows, sheet music, cases, strings and accessories. Customers regularly order from all states/provinces, as well as over 60 countries. Employing approximately 100 individuals total, Shar continues to grow in size and scope. 3      Ohio Music Education Association The Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) is dedicated to supporting music education in Ohio by providing quality, professional development opportunities for music educators and outstanding music education experiences for their students. 4      Oberlin College The Oberlin College campus is located on 440 acres in Oberlin, Ohio, 35 miles southwest of Cleveland. The Conservatory has an enrollment of approximately 615 students - primarily undergraduate - from 45 U.S. states and 22 countries.
