Wind Symphony

The Wind Symphony, directed by Dr. Andrew Machamer, is an intermediate concert band, the only one of its kind in Lorain County. It affords woodwind, brass, and percussion players the opportunity to play exciting literature in a dynamic instructional context.

Andrew Machamer

Andrew Machamer

NOYO Executive and Artistic Director and Wind Symphony Conductor Dr. Andrew Machamer is a Lecturer at Baldwin Wallace University and an active performer and teacher in Northern Ohio. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree, as well as a Master of Music degree, in Bassoon Performance from the University of Minnesota. Previously, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Music Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. As a dedicated teacher and pedagogue, Andrew has taught all ages from elementary to college level and has instructed many successful students across the country.
