Directed by Dr. Antoine T. Clark, the Philharmonia Orchestra is a full symphonic orchestra, NOYO’s most advanced traditional ensemble. This orchestra performs standard repertoire along with one world premiere by NOYO’s composer-in-residence each season.

Dr. Antoine T. Clark, Philharmonia Orchestra conductor and music director, is the founding artistic and music director of the McConnell Arts Center Chamber Orchestra, music director of the Ohio Northern University Symphony Orchestra, music director of the Ohio Wesleyan University Chamber Orchestra, and adjunct instructor of Woodwinds at Kenyon College. He is an active clarinetist and teaches a large studio of woodwind students. He earned the Master of Music degree in orchestral conducting and the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in clarinet performance from the Ohio State University. He also holds the Master of Music degree in clarinet performance from the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music, and the Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. Antoine is a Project Inclusion Conducting Freeman Fellow with the Chicago Sinfonietta.
