Amati Strings audition requirements

NOYO accepts Amati Strings auditions on the following instruments:

• Violin
• Viola
• Cello
• Bass

Scales

Be prepared to play the following scales (1-2 octaves, player’s choice):

• C Major
• G Major
• D Major

Solo

Prepare a solo piece of music of your choice. Your solo should showcase your technique and musicality. A suitable solo piece could be something from your school orchestra music or something from your lessons.

Excerpts

Please prepare the short section of music assigned to your instrument. Follow all markings and look up or translate any unfamiliar terms.
